The Finnish Innovation Fund Sitra, supported by Deloitte, is looking for circular economy solutions that change the world.
To further inspire organisations and businesses to partake in the circular transition, we are collecting a selection of solutions that are among the most viable, promising, scalable and impactful in the world.
The list of world's leading circular economy solutions will be presented at the next World Circular Economy Forum, to demonstrate the potential of a circular economy for societal transformation and inspire further adoption of circular business models throughout industries across the globe.
In addition to scouting different channels, we have now opened a call for solutions to be included in the listing. Do you think your circular economy solution could inspire others around the globe? Or have you come across truly innovative circular economy solutions in your country or abroad that you think the world should know about?
Please suggest solutions for the listing by filling in this form by 17 April 2020! The organisations with the suggested solutions will receive a link to a short sign-up survey. All submitted solutions will be evaluated by Sitra and Deloitte specialists and selected solutions will be further evaluated through an interview with the organisation. Based on the survey and interviews we will compile a list of change-making circular economy solutions from around the world.
Sitra is a future fund that collaborates with partners from different sectors to research, trial and implement bold new ideas that shape the future. Our goal is that Finland succeeds to be a pioneer in sustainable wellbeing. Sitra has received recognition for its national and international work on sustainability and circular economy. In 2018 Sitra was selected as the winner of the public-sector category of The Circulars Awards competition that was held at the World Economic Forum in Davos.
