Within the scope of the TEBD Capacity Building activities, the TEBD AGRI-FOOD NETWORKING EVENT will be organized virtually on 28 and 29 July 2021. The aim of the event is to discuss key topics in the Agri-Food sector and enhance networking between companies and transnational cooperation for improving participants access to new markets, suppliers, traders, organizations, and so on.
The TEBD Agri-Food Networking Event is organized by the Turkey-EU Business Dialogue (TEBD) Project, implemented by EUROCHAMBRES in close cooperation with TOBB, and co-financed by the European Union and the Republic of Turkey. This networking event will be organised as the continuation of the online TEBD Agri-Food Forum held on 21-22 April 2021, to bring companies, clusters and organizations together from a wide range of countries. The event will be a unique opportunity to generate new business contacts and contracts, to find partners, and also to learn about the latest developments & new ideas, and more.
This event is suitable for companies from the EU and Turkey related to the Agri-food sector, and on the topics that will be addressed during the event. Chambers/Commodity Exchanges, Business association and others are also able to attend the event as observer. English speaking and listening abilities by participants is highly recommended.
About the Structure of the event:
Meetings will take place on a virtual networking platform provided by the TEBD Project before the event, as well as the guidelines of the event. Based on the outcome of the "sessions of interest" of participants applications, breakout rooms and discussion round tables will be organised and pre-assigned.
Each session of interest will have the capacity of 20 participants (10 EU companies and 10 Turkish companies).
Each session will unfold along the following lines:
- Short introduction by moderator & tour de table
- A structured discussion among participants on their interest and potential common actions in the field.
The objective will be to develop the groundwork for future business collaboration and projects submissions by developin consortia, etc.
These sessions will facilitate a practical, interactive discussion among the companies from both EU and Turkey. Participants should therefore come prepared to share interests, ideas, experiences and practices.
The participants will have the opportunity to join B2B meetings in separate virtual rooms with counterparts that might have a specific interest to discuss.

- Dried Fruits and nuts
- Aromatic plants and herbs
29th July, Thursday
- Frozen foods (including aquaculture)
- Health and lifestyle nutritional products (vegan, gluten-free, diabetic, and so on)
- Session 6 (to be confirmed based on the interest shown on the registration forms)
